Two further twister watches have been issued by the Storm Prediction Heart.
The first is for southeast Alabama, southwest Georgia and the Florida Panhandle and lasts till 9 p.m.
The second watch is for northeast Georgia, western North Carolina and western and central South Carolina till 10 p.m. This watch contains Charlotte, North Carolina; Columbia and Greenville, South Carolina; and Augusta, Georgia.
Twister watches now stretch about 500 miles from the Gulf Coast close to Pensacola, Florida to north of Charlotte, North Carolina.
