Russia has not taken management of the jap metropolis of Bakhmut, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Armed Forces informed CNN Saturday.
“The combating in Bakhmut is extra on the outskirts, with town managed by Ukrainian protection forces: the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Border Guard and the Nationwide Guard,” in line with Serhiy Cherevatyi, the spokesperson for the jap grouping of the armed forces.
Ukrainian troops are rotating positions in Bakhmut in managed, deliberate rotations, he stated in response to studies of the withdrawal of some models.
“There’s additionally no mass withdrawal of Ukrainian troops,” he stated.
To date on Saturday, he stated there have been hostilities surrounding Bakhmut, within the villages of Vasiukivka and Dubovo-Vasylivka to the north of town, and within the villages of Ivanivske and Bohdanivka to the west.
