The Play ransomware gang has begun to leak knowledge from the Metropolis of Oakland, California, that was stolen in a latest cyberattack.
The preliminary knowledge leak consists of a 10GB multi-part RAR archive allegedly containing confidential paperwork, worker data, passports, and IDs.
“Personal and private confidential knowledge, monetary data. IDs, passports, worker full data, human rights violation data. For now partially revealed compressed 10gb,” acknowledged the cybercriminals on their knowledge leak website.
